Admission

At NUS College, we’re not just looking for the smartest students, but the ones with the greatest potential. Do you love untangling multifaceted problems? Are you curious about other perspectives? Do you think bravely? Do you wish you could make a positive difference?

We welcome you – the ones with big questions, the ones interested in different answers, the ones with the courage to try.

Learning doesn’t stop at the classroom

You don’t stop learning the moment you step out of the classroom. Our residential experience is built for learning to happen everywhere and anywhere. Get ready to learn from classmates who are as socially and culturally diverse as their majors are. Have conversations that cross disciplines and challenge opinions. Broaden your perspective, grow your character, and develop your understanding while living among a tight-knit community.

Learn differently.
Think differently.

At NUS College, you can take your learning where you want it to go – and that includes ranging across disciplines, to taking your learning overseas and out into the world. Our curriculum is compatible with more than 50 majors across six degree programmes, but you may look forward to being stretched beyond your chosen area of study through our interdisciplinary courses. You will also learn how to connect other fields of learning to your home discipline, before taking your education even further through global exposure and impact projects.

At the end of your journey with us, you will not only graduate with a certificate from NUS College and a degree from your home college, faculty or school in NUS, but you will also leave as an engaged learner, ready to act courageously for the world.

I was drawn to the curriculum and community as I want to gain more transferable skills such as qualitative and quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, perspective taking and communication skills enabled by the small class sizes in a community that lives, plays and works together.

The world, your classroom.

Our newly-designed Global Pathways programme takes your education across borders. You’ll get to spend six months to a year living and studying in some of the most thriving cities around the world – including Beijing, New York, Paris, Stockholm and Toronto – and immerse yourself in specially curated seminars, field visits and masterclasses that dive deep into specific themes: from tech and cultural entrepreneurship to environmental and climate action.

Financial aid will also be available to you.

From learning, to doing.

We aren’t just serious about learning, but also about how we use that learning for something greater than ourselves. Here, you’ll get opportunities to make a meaningful impact in your community by initiating projects that’ll make a difference; be it through service, creative expression, research or innovation. You’ll also be supported with the resources to bring your projects to life, and mentored by a global ecosystem of innovators.
