Residential Life

We want you to feel at home. Our residences are spaces where you can live, study, play, and build strong connections with peers, professors, and even alumni.

As an NUS College student, you will be required to spend two years in residence at NUS College. Residence in your first year is compulsory, followed by any two semesters that need not be consecutive. An important reminder for incoming Year 1s, to please complete your Housing Services registration and acceptance of housing in NUSC within the stipulated timeline, in order to confirm your placement in NUSC.

If you are a senior student who have completed the required residency but wish to stay on, NUS College will try to accommodate your request, subject to availability.

Incoming students will be allocated a room in an air-conditioned suite once they complete their housing registration. All rooms in the suites are single-rooms and each suite has a shared bathroom and common living area. Rooms with access to special needs facilities are available.

Please learn more about our range of financial aid to help students cover education and residential fees.

Residential Team

The Residential Team plays a vital role in building a vibrant residential community for the College by supporting students living across our two wings with dedicated personnel to organise programmes and events, guide and provide pastoral care.

These efforts come under the leadership of the two Masters (one for each residential wing) and supported by administrative officers. Each wing has a group of Resident Fellows (RFs) and student Resident Assistants (RAs), who help residents establish healthy support networks, uphold residential community standards, and develop programmes that foster a strong sense of community.

In addition, the college also has Residential Student Life Managers (RSLMs), who act as mentors, advisors, resource persons, and community builders for the residents across the college, and actively contribute to enhancing various aspects of student life by encouraging social interaction, facilitating personal growth, and organising meaningful engagement opportunities.
