NUS College (NUSC) is the Honours College of the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore’s first Honours College.
Fully integrated into the NUS ecosystem, we partner with the degree-bearing faculties in NUS to offer an education that challenges you to think critically beyond your major and supports you to explore deeply areas you are passionate about.
Our vision is to be a community of engaged learners connecting across boundaries, stretching one another to act courageously, for the world.
Each year, we admit 6 to 7% of the undergraduate cohort in NUS, bringing together students pursuing more than 60 majors from over half a dozen faculties across the University. Our four-year curriculum is designed with a special emphasis on global orientation, critical thinking and impact-creation to prepare you for the future. We conduct small class sizes of 20 to 25 students that enable our faculty to engage you as active contributors in our learning environment and develop immersive pedagogies that advance the frontiers of undergraduate education. Our courses fulfil most of the NUS general requirements and integrate seamlessly with the curriculum in the degree-bearing faculties.
Beyond the classroom, our signature Global Pathways and Impact Experience programmes offer unparalleled experiential learning opportunities around the world. Design your own pathway as you explore the world around you and your place in it through our dedicated growth mentoring programme.
For two years, you will live with peers and faculty members in our residential wings. You can find a community here that is diverse, inclusive and supportive, and interact with and be mentored by alumni who stay engaged years after graduation.
After your four-year journey in NUS and NUSC, you will attain the NUS College certificate and a degree from your degree-bearing faculty at NUS. But that’s not all. You will step out as a critical thinker, problem solver and changemaker, ready to make a bold and positive mark on our world and our communities.
This is NUSC.
We break open the classroom.
You discover a world of possibilities.
