At NUS College, we build upon the culture of giving instilled by our esteemed founding institutions, the University Scholars Programme and Yale-NUS College.
Our vibrant and diverse community, composed of alumni, students, and faculty, is driven by a singular purpose: to forge the trailblazers of tomorrow.
In 2023, we launched the NUS College Alumni Bursary, aimed at providing financial assistance to NUS College students.
I hope that the students receiving this gift participate in as many opportunities as possible, taking up meaningful work experiences both local and foreign.”

We launched the inaugural Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign in January 2024. The faculty and staff came together in support of NUS College. The campaign – Opening Doors, Closing Gaps – recognises that collective giving can make a significant impact.
Our students inspire me every day with their enthusiasm, their work ethic, and their wide-ranging interests. They all deserve a chance to focus on their studies and extra-curricular activities.”
Dr Bart van Wassenhove, Faculty Donor
NUS College won the Top Achievement Award for Commencement Class Giving 2023 across NUS’ Halls and Residences. This campaign builds a culture of giving among students.
“As the Class Champion, it means channeling the collective spirit of my graduating cohort towards supporting juniors, fostering a supportive community and ensuring the continuity of opportunities for future students.”
Calista Wong, Class Champion 2024
