Creative Practices Collective
The Creative Practices Collective (CPC) comprises academics and arts practitioners whose expertise includes dance, performance, photography, filmmaking, exhibition making, non-fiction and fiction writing.
Functioning as the creative programming arm of NUS College, the CPC runs a Creative Practices Programme to facilitate practice-based creative education for the campus community. From events such as artist talks and hands-on workshops, to formal curriculum planning that includes course offerings and the advising of the Impact Experience (IEx) creative works, CPC provides the space, infrastructure and support system for arts-related activities in NUS. It seeks to inspire NUS-wide interest in creative arts and practices, and to give students access to a wide range of art forms and creative approaches.
Committed to promoting a vibrant community of faculty, staff, and student-creatives who appreciate and collaborate on art, the Creative Practices Programme also provides funding opportunities to develop students’ artistic capacities and faculty’s pedagogical horizon.
