That’s what our curriculum is designed to do – to help you sharpen your problem-solving skills and amplify your ability to collaborate effectively with others, to enable you to address all types of challenges, from big to small, local to global.
We do this with our small-group seminar-style classes, which weave together diverse perspectives in a holistic and interdisciplinary education. Alongside classroom learning, our experiential learning programmes and dedicated moments of reflection that will develop your cross-cultural competencies and foster your personal development.

Courses that fulfil your faculty and major requirements in your degree-bearing college, faculty or school. Typically, these will comprise the courses required for your major. For some majors, these may also include a few faculty common curriculum or general education courses.
Where you do specially curated foundational and common courses, interdisciplinary electives, and a defining team-based project. The NUS College courses will replace most of the faculty common curriculum and general education requirements.
Courses which form part of your graduation requirement. You may choose to read a second major, double degree, minors, languages, or any other courses you are interested in.

The NUS College curriculum is designed to complement and enhance your chosen major in your degree-bearing college, faculty or school in NUS. You can expect to take a total of 14 courses at NUS College, out of the 40 courses required to graduate with an NUS degree. This is designed to satisfy most of the common curriculum requirements in your degree-bearing faculty and general education requirements in NUS. You may also replace some of your NUS unrestricted electives with specially curated interdisciplinary electives at NUS College. This allows you to experience integrated learning at NUS without needing to take more courses than NUS students who are not in NUS College. It also gives you the ultimate flexibility to pursue multiple academic paths and specialisations such as double degrees or double majors.
