Post-Graduate Programme

NUS College & Duke-NUS
Medical Pathway

Duke-NUS Medical School, in partnership with NUS College (NUSC), offers conditional admissions to NUSC students interested in pursuing graduate-entry medicine at the School. This initiative enables students to explore a wide range of academic interests while remaining actively engaged with the medical community at Duke-NUS Medical School. It also fosters the integration of diverse perspectives and the application of varied skill sets in the practice of medicine. Upon meeting the admission requirements, students will be able to matriculate at Duke-NUS Medical School immediately after graduating from NUS College.

The Duke-NUS Medical Pathway is intended to encourage talented and committed NUSC students who have achieved academic distinction to gain a conditional early acceptance to the Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme of Duke-NUS Medical School (Duke-NUS), while they pursue their undergraduate degree prior to the MD. Applicants who are admitted into this pathway and have accepted the offer are expected to participate in Duke-NUS’ engagement activities throughout their undergraduate years in preparation for the MD.

Applications are open to current first-year NUSC students. For more information on NUS College & Duke-NUS Medical Pathway and how to apply, click here.

The NUS College and Duke-NUS Medical Pathway prepares future healthcare leaders and innovators to advance medical practice. Designed for students from diverse, interdisciplinary backgrounds, it provides early exposure to the healthcare sector, innovation and community engagement, thereby preparing them for medical school. The pathway equips students with the leadership, ethical grounding and problem-solving skills required for medical training and for driving improvements across the healthcare system.
