Science and Society Poster Session

Applicable for: Current students How are organisations reacting to climate change? As part of their final assignment, students taking the Science and Society course (NSS2001) will be presenting posters on various responses related to technology or policy. They will look at the scientific basis of the responses and evaluating if there are difference between expected and actual outcomes. Coffee and snacks will be served, so head on down to view the work of our students anytime during the two days!

NUSCProductions Presents: To Deal with a Devil

Applicable for: Everyone You are invited you to NUSCProduction’s AY2023/24 production, To Deal with a Devil. This play starts as a coming-of-age story for four humans – Allison, Ryan, Isaac, and Gladys – which quickly takes a turn for the worse when the supernatural is brought into the picture. Thanks to the interference of the popular tavern barkeeper-slash-witch, Lilith, and the infamous devil of the Deep Woods, Mercer, the four quickly realise something vital: there are no easy answers, and everything comes with a price. Applicable for: Current students A collaboration between Halogen Foundation and NUSC, this in-person workshop is specially curated for Year 1 and 2 NUSC students. The programme aims to guide students towards understanding their motivations, defining their own path to success, and gaining clarity on their life’s purpose. Some of the workshop highlights include Ikigai exploration, finding your carrot (Motivation 101), motivational profiling, career, and skills exploration, and more!
