Global Pathways

Living in a highly dynamic and interconnected world, the challenges we face are often global in nature.

As part of our mission to cultivate active global citizens, entrepreneurs and scholars, the Global Pathways Programme at NUS College offers transformative overseas experiences around the world, designed to expand and shape your view of the world, yourself and your place within it.

We prepare you for the future as you acquire essential skills in critical thinking, problem solving and more, instilled with courage and confidence to venture into unfamiliar spaces, engage with different cultures and contribute meaningfully to others and the world.

It is a true student-centred journey where you can actively build and design your own pathway towards a life of purpose and impact.

Hence, the Global Pathways programme is a graduating requirement for all NUSC students.

Our students can fulfil the Global Pathways requirement through one or more of the following:

  • Global Experience Course (GEx)
  • Regional Impact Experience (IEx) Projects
  • NUS College’s Double Degree Programmes (DDP)
  • NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC)
  • Student Exchange Programme (SEP)
  • Summer International Internship Programme (SIIP)

  • Global Citizen: Develop a deep understanding of complex global issues, cultural intelligence and the ethical responsibilities of living in a shared world.
  • Global Scholar: Engage in advanced learning and research across borders, integrating diverse perspectives and knowledge systems to solve critical real-world problems.
  • Global Entrepreneur: Cultivate an innovative mindset and practical skills needed to discover and launch new solutions as an individual or leader in a global context.

Funding

International experiences are for all our students, and we believe that they should not come at a great cost. To make international programmes more accessible, grants and financial assistance are available to participants of approved global programmes. We highly encourage our students to sign up for these programmes according to their interests.
