At the Impact Festival, you can learn about pivotal NUS College programmes, including Impact Experience (IEx), Global Experience (GEx), NUSC Imprints, NUSC Incubator, and NUSC Growth Mentoring.
IEx is a capstone project where NUSC student groups collaborate with communities in both Singapore and the wider Southeast Asia, to innovate future solutions for the benefit of society, driving social change that is both contextual and meaningful.

GEx is a one-month course over the summer featuring seminars, workshops and field visits in specially selected cities around the world. Students in NUSC, as well as across NUS, can choose from a variety of themes offered, unique to the relative strengths of each city or region.

NUSC Imprints is a brand-new initiative designed to support students’ community-engaged works that emerge from IEx and other service-learning courses of NUSC. As the publishing unit of the college, Imprints will publish student’s original stories created in collaboration with communities, complete with editorial guidance, financial outlay, and proper distribution networks, so that lesser-told voices are amplified and students’ creativity is celebrated.

NUSC Impact Incubator is an incubation programme nurturing social start-ups, helping students turn their community-related ideas into real-world, wide-scale impact. The programme consists of workshops on social entrepreneurship, funding of up to $10,000, and preparation for venture creation.

The Growth Mentoring team in NUSC is dedicated to supporting the holistic development of students, from career guidance and internship opportunities, to life coaching. Programmes you can discover at the Impact Festival include the Asian Undergraduate Symposium, jointly organised with the ASEAN University Network, and the Summer International Internship Programme.
